Project Manager

About The Role

     A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction or equivalent experience of a bachelor’s degree in the industry. You must be good with technology, like Microsoft, and have a clean driver’s license, plus insurance, if you’re going to use your vehicle for work.

     We also require a sound knowledge of planning, documentation, local laws, codes, and filing requirements plus a working knowledge of building enclosures from design to completion and ability to sketch field conditions. Familiarity with CAD, NYC Scaffold Certifications, OSHA certifications are a bonus.Finally, you must be someone who cares as much as we do about New York, its heritage, future, and people.
Assistant Project Manager

About The Role

     We’re good at spotting potential, and investing in our people fulfil it, so working as an Assistant Project Manager is a great place to start. It’s intense, covers all bases and you will be expected to hit the ground running, giving you the best perspective of what we do, how we do it and how far you can progress. We’re with you every step, supporting, training, and mentoring, but you will be expected to be a self-starter, self-motivated and intensely curious about the fascinating space we occupy in New York’s built environment. And you must be an active listener and good communicator, written, verbal and everything in between.

     We need someone who is observant, quickly grasping what projects are about and what’s needed, from planning to ongoing documentation to ensure compliance and adherence to the standards our clients expect from us. Alongside this, you will be expected to monitor costs, progress, and foster transparent communication with everyone. We also want someone who isn’t afraid to pitch in, whether that’s with clients, out on the field or diving into the details at your desk.

     It's critical to have strong analytic skills, enjoy problem solving and cope well, even in unexpected circumstances. The workload is varied, no day is the same, so the ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage your time effectively is key to striking the work-life balance that we want everyone to enjoy. Business Development Coordinator

About The Role

We’re looking for someone to drive our business development efforts forward by leveraging their experience and innovative thinking within the architectural, design, or engineering sectors. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will have at least one year of experience supporting business functions in these fields. This role is designed to offer a robust growth path, ultimately leading to a direct business development position.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Leadership of Business Development, playing a pivotal role in propelling the business forward. Your responsibilities will include managing systems and data, and producing essential client-facing deliverables. You will actively manage CANY’s Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce), ensuring data maintenance, lead management, and generating business development reports.

Direct Involvement with Executive Leadership: You will receive day-to-day, hands-on training directly from the Executive Leadership team, integrating into their working practices. This role will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of business development within CANY.

Administrative Support: You will assist with daily administrative tasks related to business development and marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth operations.

Coordinating Marketing Initiatives: This includes organizing email campaigns, events, and webinars, all designed to enhance our market presence and client engagement.

Document Production: You will create presentations, proposals, and client communications, ensuring high-quality and professional documentation.

Market Research Intelligence: You will build and maintain intelligence on market trends, pricing, opportunities, and potential clients, providing valuable insights to guide business development strategies.

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will champion our efforts within CANY and the broader industry. This role requires exceptional communication skills, integrity, and transparency. You’ll be managing expectations, avoiding surprises, and delivering the best possible outcomes, fostering collaboration, skill-sharing, and information exchange within our teams.

This role will require a regular, physical presence in the office.

Salary:  $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually, depending on experience and fit

You must be good with technology, including Microsoft applications/software and the Adobe Creative Suite, and ideally have literacy with Salesforce and a knowledge of managing databases.
